The i-Omics Biotech has launched the new multi-pump micro-integrated liquid system MD 9608D SP12

Shanghai, April 2026 – Shanghai i-Omics Biotech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "i-Omics Biotech") announced that its developed MD 9608 SP12 high-speed reagent filling system has been delivered in bulk to customers. This product is designed for core applications such as diagnostic reagent production, molecular diagnostics, immunoassays, and high-throughput research experiments, providing an efficient and precise automated solution for multi-well, multi-reagent, and microliter-scale reagent filling requirements.

The system employs an innovative 12-channel parallel liquid dispensing architecture equipped with 12 independent high-precision micropumps, enabling simultaneous dispensing of reagents in different volumes across all 12 samples per run. Compared to traditional single-channel devices, it achieves several-fold improvements in dispensing efficiency and supports arbitrary combinations of 1–12 pumps for synchronized liquid dispensing, capable of performing simultaneous dispensing operations with 12 distinct reagents and volume specifications. Its most notable feature is a wide dispensing range covering 2 μL to 9999 μL (with customizable larger volumes), coupled with high precision that meets requirements from micro-scale sample addition to large-volume dispensing. Under 10 μL dispensing conditions, the system demonstrates precision with a coefficient of variation (CV) <3%, ensuring reliable and reproducible dispensing performance.

The system offers models equipped with automatic calibration functionality, and its intelligent software enables independent automated calibration for each peristaltic pump, ensuring high-quality filling results for every production batch or experimental run.

This product is compatible with various target container types, including POCT cartridge cavities, 96/384 PCR plates, deep-well plates, strip tubes, sampling tubes, glass vials, and centrifuge tubes. It is widely applicable in applications such as dispensing diagnostic reagent strips/parallel tubes, pre-dosing multi-target PCR/qPCR reagents, adding reagents to ELISA/chemiluminescence microplates, dispensing POCT cartridge pre-packaged solutions, distributing quality control samples and standard curves, preparing nucleic acid extraction buffers, as well as drug screening and cell experiments.

The system offers two instrument versions: the manually calibrated MD 9608 SP12 and the automatically calibrated MD 9608 SP12A, catering to diverse user requirements for operational convenience and calibration accuracy.
